Re: Flats that have flat edges after Washing.

I recommend brown cow cotton. PERFECTLY square after prepping and lay SUPER flat when tri folded. They are one of the trimmer flats I own, but "dense"/"sturdy" and look pretty absorbent (haven't done a comparison on absorbency yet, though). I had 6 originally but ordered 6 more and have a feeling I'll end up selling the rest of my flats.

I can tell you which do curl as all of mine do. With my first it bothered me, but right now I am just happy when the diapers are clean.

Curled edges: Little Lions, osocozy, swaddlebees, geffen. Flour towels from target and Walmart (hated those).

Bamboo terry flats don't curl & hold their shape great. I've only tried ODC & didn't like that they created a thicker pad than my LLs, but they were nice when using an origami fold.

My reserged blueberry bamboo flats don't curl. - the original serging shredded but now that they ate reserged they are fabulous. My imagine bamboo curl a little, more so on The two shorter edges.

I love my thirsties preflats too- no curling at all, and you can padfold in half the time. There is just a small bump on the one hemmed edge but that is easy to tuck in.

None of the above are perfectly square.

Just got mine over the weekend and they are awesome! The only others I had tried were geffen baby and they shrank into the most bizarre shape and the serged edges are rolled all different ways. So glad I tried the brown cow ones. They held their shape great, edges are perfectly flat, and really soft and stretchy to boot. I also like the weight of them. Not t shirt thin like the geffen but not too thick either. It makes them a lot easier to fold for a novice like myself.

Amanda I'm with you! I love every last thing about brown cow cotton! The shape, the size, the feel, how trim, the stretch, you name it!

My large GMD bleach lay perfectly flat. My blueberry bamboo lay pretty flat too. I have diaper rite and tiny tush that curl. The tiny tush are particularly bad.
