Jen, text or message me if you need to.

Jess, do they have towels at the grocery store? Most of the shops here do, but then, I live in town.

(((Jen))) I am so sorry.

Jess, you can probably pull that gift off or something similar between two drug stores and a grocery store and a radio shack. If not a towel, a beach tote with sunglasses and sunscreen or something.

Janine I am still struggling with rationing my energy and activities for the kids. They have had way too much electronic time lately. My latest attempt is this, and the girls are so excited about it. You could totally DIY your own with any notebook, but right now I am taking the easy route.

Re: Basically it's a Very Wet Wednesday

So I am back from the doc. Got my official POTS dx, and discussed all the possibilities. Since I have improved so much with lifestyle and diet changes, I am just going to try one additional med that should increase my salt retention for now and see what happens. That and I am under orders that if I even go on any more trips I have to order and wear my own version of Janine's sexy stockings, boo. There are other drugs I could take, and there are specialists for this kind of thing but the closest one is in Ohio and has a 9 month waiting list to get in, so I am going to see where the salt med and continued improvement in lifestyle and diet takes me.

Re: Basically it's a Very Wet Wednesday

I think I am pretty fortunate. A lot of people who have this have symptoms way worse than me for a long time. I just have to learn to manage the symptoms I have and avoid the stuff that makes it worse and it may mostly go away on its own.

Hey, maybe we need to start a list of ideas of stuff kids can do that don't require much effort on our part. Like I bust out a can of shaving cream and let them play with it, for example.

Letting my kids loose on the contents of a can of shaving cream happens to be one of those things that fills me with fear and dread.

The destruction that they could do with that is just too much to even bare.

I'm sorry Janine, that made me laugh. You are probably right. I have the luxury of containing them to the kitchen when they do that. Or sending them outside. I suppose you could contain them in your tub but that wouldn't fit all of them.
