Sometimes you need to add a condiment (like a hotdog) to get a kid to eat the healthy stuff.

Just got a link to this article and blog about bento lunches from my laptop lunch newsletter thought I'd share. Also was wishing this AM that I had the food dividers I saw on the Daiso Japan site!

http://www.daisojapan.com/

They have picks, bentos, egg molds, erasers, all kinds of crazy stuff.

Everything needs to be ordered in packs of 10 or so.
We have a local Daiso store...it's awesome! Only con is that everything is final sale, no returns or exchanges.

If there's not enough interest in a group buy, I'd be happy to pick up some goods and send them in a flat rate box. I don't know if the stores carry everything listed online though...

Jealous... and thinking about this! How generous of you. How are the prices? Lower than the website? I need to get in touch with Daiso and see how they feel about cooperative purchases.

Thought I'd post our first day pic for fun.

Egg salad on rye, carrots and hummus, crackers, grapes from our vine and a square of birthday chocolate.

New magnets!
