I am looking for a diaper cream for DS. He always gets a bumpy rash when in cloth. It isn't yeast because he shares diapers with DD and she is fine. Sorry for the huge not coconut oil, but we have tried it time and time again. It does nothing for him. Even though I put that in my post it seems like 20 people will suggest it. Is there anything out there besides CJs? I have considered just putting a thin coating of butt paste on him since we use flats and WHs. I'm not too worried about it not washing out. I would rather try something CD safe first though.

My Mood:
My son was sensitive to acidic foods like tomatoes, so cutting those out until he was older helped a bunch.

Our magic combo for diapering was California Baby diaper area wash with a cloth wipe (sensitive to sposie wipes), pat diaper area very dry, and apply a thin layer of Grandma El's diaper cream.

In hindsight, potty training him at 18 months would have saved a lot of trouble.

Re: diaper cream NOT COCONUT OIL :)

May be a reaction to the moisture? You could try fleece liners (super easy and cheap to make). They would both protect your diapers from butt paste AND maybe help by wicking moisture away. Good luck!

I love Grandma El's as a barrier cream! The lanolin in it really keeps skin happy ime.

GroVia Magic Stick

They call it magic for a reason. It works better than regular stuff.

Lololol I'm still waiting for someone to suggest it. It's so true!! It's everyone's magic everything. When my oldest was a baby, it was olive oil that was everybody's panacea.

I have had good results with Magic Stick.
