Grovia Hybrid

What your favorite insert? The stay dry or the organic cotton or a prefold? If a prefold what size fits best in the shell for a toddler? size 3? or would I need a size 4? Thank you!

I use Size 2 prefolds in GroBaby shells sometimes because I love the feel of the prefolds (but I also stuff them in pockets), but I loooooove the organic cotton Soaker Pads the most. I just like how easily and neatly they snap in and how nice and neat they look. This is our favorite system and would probably be my only system if I didn't crave such color variety in my stash, haha.

Thank you! I like the idea of the organic cotton soakers better than the prefolds but I like the price of the prefolds better! lol

DS2 is 21 months and a moderate wetter. The soakers get all bunched up in the crotch and look uncomfortable when wet (I have both the stay dry and cotton). We like the size 3 prefold in ours the best. It stays in place really well and doesn't bunch.

I like the stay dry inserts best. The cotton ones didn't stay soft at all. I haven't tried the prefolds yet!

Re: Grovia Hybrid

Snap in inserts took way too long to dry for us. About as long as our BGEs.
We use padfolded flats, and live how the covers hold them in place and don't sag due to less crotch depth compared to most OS covers.
