Anybody's babies get smaller instead of bigger?

Just wondering! Seems like the trend is that each baby tends to get bigger.

I've never had GD but I have had 2 big babies. DS was born at 39+1 at 8 lb. 15 oz., and DD was born at 41+1 at 10 lb., 4 oz.

I am kinda scared if my babies keep getting bigger what this one will be.

But, of course, DD was born 2 weeks later than DS, so that makes a difference.

My second was over 3/4 lb. lighter than my first- but the same length. She felt so fragile! She's still a string bean!

My first was 7# 4 oz, second was 6# 6 oz. Third was back up to 7# 5 oz. Number four we'll find out any day.

Don't be too scared though, a friend of mine had a seven pounder, then high eight, high nine, and a high ten pounder. She was so scared that the fifth would be twelve pounds, but she was just under eight.

Ds1 was 2 weeks early and 8lbs 6oz

Dd was a week early and 7lbs 0oz. So almost 1.5 lbs lighter than the first

Ds2 was two days late and 9lbs 2oz. Over two pounds heavier than the previous child.

My 2nd was 1/2 a lb lighter than his brother, same length. And he cooked an extra week too.

BUT, he's a mega-runt. At 2 he's about the size of a "healthy" 9/10 month old.

With my first three, they each got bigger. Then my 4rth was smaller than the rest. She was a full pound smaller than my 3rd.

They went like this: 9lb 2oz, 9lb 10oz, 9lb 12oz, 8lb 12oz
