My mom had me 6 weeks early.

I had csections with all of mine, medically necessary (true cephalopelvic disproportion). I had my oldest on her due date. My youngest I went in for my scheduled section 8 days early and was in "active labor" (contractions every 2 minutes lasting about 90 seconds each) but was not effaced or dilated since baby can't drop down to apply pressure to my cervix.

With this one I keep feeling like he's going to come at 37 weeks...vaginally...breech. With like hardly anytime to get to the hospital. Medically I know this is close to near impossible, but it's how I feel lol.

DD1 was born @ 36 weeks. My water broke & I didn't deliver until 3 days later. Forced dilation with balloon catheter. Pitocin & a stronger medicine (can't remember the name ATM) did not work for me. No pain meds.

DD2 was born at 38 weeks. I had my membranes stripped around lunchtime & delivered her @ midnight. Had epi. I hated it & will never get it again. (Hopefully we are done having children though.)

My mom delivered me at 42 weeks, induced with pitocin, no pain meds. She delivered my sister at 37 weeks, induced, got epi- had a bad reaction & had to be reversed.

Ds1 was early a few times before 33 weeks and stopped with terbutaline. Delivered at 33.

Never went into labor again with any of my other children, whom were all repeat c/s.

Ds2 delivered at 38+
Ds3 delivered at 39
Dd delivered at 39.6

Never even dilated.

DS1- 35+5 weeks after stopping labor at 26, 28 weeks with terb, then a week on mag at 32 weeks and sent home at 5. Labor was 6 hours plus 20 min of pushing. Epi 6.9lbs no NICU

DD- 32 weeks, couldn't stop her. 4.4 lbs, three hour labor while on mag, one push. Epi and mag 42 days NICU

DS2&3- identical twins 32+3 four hour labor, epi in OR, but labored to an 8 naturally. wanted a natural birth but was bullied. pushed twice for baby a, b was twelve minutes behind 4.3 and 4.6 lbs 30 days NICU

Surrogate baby- 31+6 weeks 3.6lbs, water broke at 31 weeks, stopped labor, developed infection and was induced at 31+6. Three hour labor, never pushed. She was born onto the bed because the docs didn't believe I felt her coming down. Her mom was first to hold her because of this!

DS4- 32+2 went into labor at 32+1, stopped it to get steroids on board, went into full blown labor immediately after drugs were stopped. Delivered four hours later, naturally 4.13lbs 26 days NICU

had him at 41 weeks, my mom had me at 40 +3... i think it's how it was with your mom, unless there was something else influencing her or you

Re: Were you early or late to go into labor with first pregnancy?

My first was also my earliest (and the only one I went into spontaneous labor with, and my biggest!). I went into labor at 38+1 and he was born at 38+2.
