My Mood:
Comfort/pain relief stuff for my hospital bag

What do I need?

All I can think of is tennis balls for my back. How do I use them? Just have DH roll them on my back or do you put them in a sock or something for easier handling?

My doula said something about bringing essential oils, anyone ever heard of that?

My Mood:
I thought about tennis balls- havent gotten any yet. Guess I should get on that! So far I packed a small variety pack of essential oil patches. 1 for pain, energy, relaxation, sleep ect.
I also packed a squeeze/stress ball, and earth mama angel baby perennial spray for after.
I don't have much else. I know I Should try to fid a focal point. W/ds2 I completely disappeared inside myself. Only wanted ice chips once in awhile and didn't care what else was going on! I would like to e more aware this time- but I had 1 focus- & my active labor phase was super fast! Lol
Eta:
If you're in a hospital that only has showers and no tubs do yourself a HugE favor and find a padded kneeler (think for gardening). W/ds1 I was kneeling on the hard tile under the shower and even with towels put down it hurt like heck!
And not pain relief- but Im packing coconut water because its more hydrating than Gatorade.

How about an exercise ball? You can lean over it or sit on it (covered with a towel if you'd like). Make sure it's appropriate size to your height - I'm 6 ft tall so I had to get an extra large one or it's not comfy for your knees.

Crampbark tincture for afterpains, maybe a rice sock for your belly.
