I've been vomiting quite a bit for the last several hours. There's nothing but stomach acid at this point coming up. I can't keep water down. For the last hour or so, my lower back is hurting a lot and I've had a few contractions. I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow.

ETA: I've also been having diarrhea this evening as well.

It doesn't hurt to check in with your ob. I got an awful stomach bug with #3. I threw up until it felt like my ribs were going to crack. The Dr told me to just let my stomach settle before trying to even drink.

Eta: stupid super sensitive phone. He said 12 hours to 24 hours with limited fluid wouldn't be too bad, but if it went much longer than that I'd need to get meds and fluids.

I'd get it checked out, just to make sure that you are not dehydrated. Not fun under any circumstances, but being pg, that's just not fair.

Try to nust have some crushed ice in small quantities. Or even better get some gatorade and freeze it. Having liquid like that will help you stay hydrated without drinking it down too much and throwing it back up. Do the pinch test on the back of your hand and front of your lower leg to see if you are getting dehydrated. If you are really worried call the dr and go in.

Still in ER. Waiting for CT scan. Bleeding is probably due to excessive vomiting but they just want to check everything out. Several doses of Zofran later and I'm feeling a fair but better, but each dose earlier wore off within an hour. Last dose was larger. Hoping it's more effective.

Is there anything stronger than Zofran. It's been 40 minutes or so and it's wearing off again.
