Anyone get these while pregnant? I get them (PVCs) sometimes just out of the blue when I'm not pregnant and also more frequently if my body is stressed like if I'm sick with a fever or something. So I'm not overly concerned. It's just uncomfortable and has been quite frequent lately. Just wondering if any other pregnant mamas have noticed this?

Yes. They are just enough to make me have a tiny moment of panic.

I get PACs and PVCs when not pregnant, and it's more pronounced when pregnant. But, I also find myself more attuned to my body when pregnant and I suspect that it's partly psychological.

I thought the first trimester was the worst with my son, and that's proven true this time as well but I'm only 23 weeks right now.

Oh I hope that will be true for me-- I'm still in the first trimester. I agree I think I'm more attuned to it as well because I've been spending so much time just laying on the couch being still.

Thanks for the replies!! It does cause a little panic when I first started getting them!

Re: Heart palpitations

Yep. I get them rarely when not pregnant, but notice if I'm rushing around very stressed (as per usual) and then lie down, I get a couple.

Enough to make me think, "Don't let me die..." and then it's over. I overanalyze every little pregnancy symptom.

Awww

I get them so often that they don't worry me anymore, just annoying I guess. I have had to wear a monitor and the cardiologist said it's just PVCs which are nothing to worry about. It sort of feels like my heart skips a beat but really I think it beats too early. Is that what it feels like for you?

I'm 24 weeks along, and I still have them occasionally, but not near as much as I did during the first trimester. I also have just a moment of "Wow I hope it goes back to normal" and then I'm fine again. I was told as long as there's no dizziness or breathlessness associated with them, they're harmless.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. =P

Me! It was worst in the first trimester. Dr said it's very common and usually gets worse when pregnant if you're prone to them when not pregnant. She said not to worry unless you get other symptoms, like shortness of breath unrelated to exertion.

I got them horribly for two random weeks in my second trimester. Never had one before until them but it did have me freaked at first - which of course makes them worse. Lol they're really common. Just your body trying to compensate and adjust to quick fluctuations in your blood pressure.

Always made me feel like I had to remind myself how to breathe but they went away quickly. I have really low bp when pregnant so I wasn't surprised.

Yes! That's exactly what it feels like to me.

Had to wear a monitor a few years' back, and the cardiologist deemed me unfit for birth control, saying it was giving me terrible tachychardia. I think it was exacerbating something that is there anyway, but only shows up once in awhile.

Fun being a woman, huh?
