My Mood:
So I'm scheduled for a c section at 7am tomorrow and it's almost 11 here now. My water broke (that I could majority tell) around 8pm. I called the hospital and they said to basically hang out and try to make it till the morning if I can. They're busy I guess and have no rooms - but if I do come in they will move someone for me to get set up on the monitors and try to wait till morning.

What I'm concerned about is I did have what I thought was a lot of discharge in the middle of the night and today - but now I'm wondering if my water broke in the night and I didn't realize. That I was having small gushes as I moved. I'm paranoid of getting a infection because both me and DS had fevers when he was born after 13 hours of my water breaking and by now it could theoretically be 24 hours already.

I am having contractions but they barely hurt, and I think I was having them randomly today - it's hard for me to really tell since there's almost no pain. But this is exactly how DS came. Water broke and no pain when contracting - then I was told to immediately come in BUT they gave me pitocin right away so idk how labor would have progressed from there. So I have no clue if I'm actually dialating. I'm gushing a ton constantly though which is different than with DS.

Normally I'd be totally fine for waiting but with DS and I getting infections from 13 hours of rupture when he was born it's making me paranoid. I also live an hour from the hospital and will take probably 30 mins to drop DS off on our way.

Are all labor's really painful? Do you think my waters just tend to pop a little early in early labor? My conrax are about every 5 minutes for about 45 seconds - but barely painful like a light menstrual cramp.

Go in. With your history its probably best. The hospital will figure it out. Worst is they test you and its not ruptured and they send you home.

Sounds like it did rupture though.

Go in! And good luck!

Definitely ruptured. 100%. Every time I stand or move I'm creating a sizeable puddle. Lol

We're going! Lol DH said he wanted to go too. Starting to get kinda painful and won't be there probably for another two hours. Figured it's best to be safe.
