Liner for gross toddler poop

My 2 year old has some nasty poops and they are usually soft and runny. I've been changing her diet trying to get them to firm up a bit and not smell so bad and in the mean time I gave up on cloth. I'd like to go back but I can't even imagine trying to scrape this poo off the inserts (and we are close to potty training so I'm not going to install a sprayer at this point). So I'm wondering about some kind of economical liner I can use and toss if it is too covered in poo. I've heard fleece is good but are there different types of fleece and is one type better? Is there something else that would work?

I use flushable ones. I think the ones I have now are bamboo. I wash them if they just have pee (they'll last 1-2 more times) and flush the poopy ones.

just be careful the flushable ones don't clog your toilet

I can't get the flushable liners to stop bunching on my 2yo's diapers. It is useless when it's bunched up so I would love some tips in this department and OP may find it helpful too

They always bunched up on my kiddos too.

Honestly, OP? My DS is pretty regular, so I put a sposie on him for his first diaper of the day, within an hour or so he poops, then i do cloth the rest of the day.

Re: Liner for gross toddler poop

No bunching here with grovia liners and nasty toddler poop since they're so big! Pee ones can be washed and reused (just don't put in the dryer).

You can let the disposable liners hang out of the sides of the diaper for fuller coverage and less bunching. Grovia are good. Alva also sells some that are softer and cheaper than grovia.

My favorite fleece liners are old baby blankets that I cut up. One from ikea.

I also have a bunch of suede cloth that I cut up. It bunches up a bit more than the fleece though.

The bamboo ones bunch really badly. Try the grovia, kushies or g diaper ones they are a different thicker material.

I've never had bunching with the Grovia liners. I actually prefer the Bummis size small because they don't stick out of the diaper, but I admit that they occasionally turn into butt floss, while the Grovias never do.
