Lanisoh - I think you can order free samples with a card attached to it- to your business address. They are labeled not for sale.

Re: Help me think of breastfeeding gifts

Wow I wish someone like you worked at the WIC office here back when I used to go there. Someone that was caring would have made my WIC experiences so much better.

Lanoish cream, water bottle and a nursing necklace are my picks.

Mason jars with all the dry ingredients for lactation cookies layered in it, then tie a little card onto it with what wet ingredients to add and how to bake. I have done it for showers before!

I like the water bottle idea. We actually were giving those for awhile. They were pink with a bf logo on them.

Aww thanks, that's sweet of you to say. I've been trying to talk them into nursing necklaces, but they just look at me like I'm nuts. lol

For me, a bracelet (or the jewel)... maybe a magnet about how long you can store breastmilk in the fridge/freezer/etc. That's such a frequent google search for lots of new moms.

I dont like a lot of storing things though since I never try to build a stash. I have snappies up the wazoo from the lc.

A simple nursing necklace is good because distracted murders are always a question on my breastfeeding support page.
We have the magnets that I toss in the bags. Unfortunately the ones we have came from the pump companies and the time frames are a little longer then we like to recommend.

Most of our moms have pumps, or we can help them get a pump. I'm not allowed to do the Milkies just because someone out there would wear it all day and then feed sour milk. sigh. Personally I think they are a great idea if used correctly.

A printed copy of The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. A great book and source of information. Plus, something to read while nursing.
