I'm thinking if ds is like his siblings we will be done nursing around the clock in about five months.

My bras are ones I've had since ds1 was a baby almost eight years ago. They are starting to show their love.

Should I go out and buy new ones or just save the money and stick it out.

I'm thinking ds will be done nursing sooner than later since he is always been ahead on everything else. He wants to be mr independent.

Buy one or two

I sprung for 2 extra nursing tanks a while back and smile every time I wash them. Really.

Re: Buy new nursing bras or not?

maybe buy a few for something nice if you have to dress up. There are a few of mine that are really bare and i finally got a few more and that was 8-9 years from the first set....

Re: Buy new nursing bras or not?

I would totally spring for a couple of new ones. With my youngest we had so many nursing troubles early on, and I doubted that we would even make it to one year. Well, we hung on for that long and around that time he became super attached to it and went another year and a half. I'm all about comfort, so I'd get one or two more if it was me.:-)

I don't use bras. I do use tanks with built in shelf bras & built in cups, that are not specific to nursing. I just pop my boobs out the top & I'd buy 10 more of those in every color. :P Around the house I wear them alone & out & about I wear them as a foundation garment, You can pop out or pull up & it covers your midsection...because frankly Id' rather flash boob than belly at this age.

If you want you could always buy used off of eBay.

Re: Buy new nursing bras or not?

I bought one bra initially (Bravado), loved it so much I went back to the store and bought another one. I also invested in a nursing tank top....LOVE IT, neutral colour goes with everything & comfy!! I tried my local consignment stores, but found out nursing items in my size were hard to come by so had to buy new.
