That's the problem I have with them- air space fills with milk, especially on the opposite breast from where I'm nursing. The other reasons I don't use them out of the house, but maybe I'm doing something wrong, are that they don't "fold" well into my bra like other pads while I'm nursing so it's harder to get them back in place discreetly and I usually take them out and sit them down at home and that's just not discreet enough for me in public.

I was unlucky the first time I wore them and had a big leak that I didn't realize (result of the air space dealy) so I've been more cautious about using them in public since.
