jeme & her dh made some really cool felted baskets for easter...she said her dh was actually better at it.

my dh is so funny about stuff like that - he calls all my projects (crochet, embroidery, etc.) my "stitching". he's def. not crafty.

Okay, now I'm embarassed about the stash I got together for my best friend. It certainly looks like you love her. I love my best friend too; but she didn't get a peewell (okay she did get a mutt). She will so want to stick with it after all of that stuff!!!!! I second the basket idea. Also, you may want to make her a little wash routine guide, that's what I'm doing for my best friend. Thanks for the reminder, I need to get a downy ball as well.

Wow Jeme! That is an insane amount of stuff. How to put it together ummm, all that stuff would take up like 4 hefty bags. If you had another month I would suggest some gigantic diaper cake. How about in a couple Wal-Mart wetbags or a wicker hamper or a big plastic laundry basket? For one of my wedding showers I got some tall laundry baskets that are still being used 7 years later....

It is so nice to see someone really celebrate the idea of gift giving instead of buying the cheapest, easiest thing. Good friends can be so hard to come buy. Have fun at the shower mama!
