Re: Packed Lunches
SpartyGuard, your lunches look amazing! I'm going to have to get me some of those lunch containers (much nicer than my old-as-dirt Tupperware)!

Re: Packed Lunches
I am looking into a Mr. Bento for hubby as he wants different stuff for lunch but no access to a microwave or fridge (he works construction and the weather is what he gets...).
Where is a cheap place to get this? I looked on amazon and it seemed pricey to me? or is that the price i am to expect?

Re: Packed Lunches
Normally my dh gets leftovers from a prior dinner - we're not big sandwich people, so if it's just leftover meat, I'll cut it up for him on a salad.
Some variety of veggie & fruit combo, depending on what's in the house - carrot sticks, green pepper slices, celery sticks, an apple, an orange, grapes, homemade applesauce. Sometimes cheese & crackers. Was doing granola bars but the storebought ones seem to have simultaneously shrunk & gone up in price. Found a tasty homemade chewy granola bar recipe (no corn syrup!) that I made & that worked well, but just haven't sat down and mixed it all up since ds was born almost 7 weeks ago, so we're currently "out of stock" as it were...

Re: Packed Lunches
No special recipe but for packed lunches in our house, whoever is doing the packing uses my cookie cutters to make the sandwich into a special message. Many times my husband has gone to work with Monty Python quotes haha!!!
