When did your morning sickness end?

daughter - no nausea, randomly threw up twice in the first trimester

miscarriage - moderately nauseous more on than off, threw up a few times from 6 weeks until miscarriage at 8.5 weeks

son - HORRIFICALLY nauseous constantly (unless temporarily knocked out by promethazine), throwing up / dry heaving 6-8 times per day from 6 weeks until 28 weeks, mildly to moderately nauseous and throwing up once or twice a day from 28 weeks until 32.5. diagnosed with hyperemesis at 9 weeks.

as to the gender difference, if it was because of that, then i only want girls!!!

we have noticed that the pregnancies seem to match their personalities - my daughter is super easy, and my son cannot do anything mildly, quietly or easily...everything is extreme, violent and loud. who knows?!

From 5 weeks preggo to about 16 weeks with my DD was my time-- after that I felt awesome!!!

Your son's pregnancy sounds like my pregnancy with my identical twin boys... it was HORRIBLE! I was SOOOO sick that I would just sob and swear I'd never do it again.... and here I am wanting another!

With my DD, I was throwing up and dry heaving until about 14 weeks... then it was smooth sailing. That was before the twins....

W/ dd sick for first 16 weeks and then felt great.
W/ ds sick from about 6 weeks until after he was born, diagnosed w/ HG and horribly sick puking, losing weight,taking zofran, dehydrated,spitting in a cup until about 6 months. After that constant nausea, had to chew gum 24/7, no exceptions or would throw up.

I could not do it again

DS was around 16 weeks. With him sour things seemed to calm my stomach the most (lemons, green olives, sour candies)

DD was around 16 weeks and with her any sour stuff made me sicker. With her sweets seemed to help more than sour stuff.

With my ds I was sick only for the first trimester
With my dd that I am pregnant with now I am still sick(27wks) At 25 wks it tapered off I stoped throwing up all the time but am still Nauseous(sp?) I ended up taking Zofran for awhile just to make it thru the day!

DS1- the whole pregnancy had to take Zofran until the day I was induced.

This pregnancy another boy.....the whole time.....I still take a zofran in the morning or I end up puking, but the rest of the day I feel great, so I can't complain too much. Just wish Zofran wasn't so expensive and constipating....other then that it's my lifesaver!!

#1-13w m/s subsided, DD
#2-only got sick a couple of times, DD
#3-15w m/s subsided, DD

I'm currently 15w pregnant with #4 and my m/s is subsiding. We'll find out in another 25w or so what the sex of this babe is!

I've had morning (more like all day)sickness from about 4 weeks to 14 weeks with all of my pregnancies. It seems to be worse with the girls and really bad with the first one. I threw up everyday at least once for the whole 14 weeks. I never threw up with the boys, just felt like it, and only threw up a few times each with the other girls. This time (I'm 11 weeks today) I've only thrown up once, when I had a migraine. I think it might be a girl anyway because of the headaches I've had, which also seem worse with the girls. I guess I'll find out in a couple of months.

that's so funny - i was wanting the ob to tell me i was having twins...to justify the sickness! it seemed like it would make more sense if there were two in there. now that i've had calvin-the-great-terror, i'm really, really glad there is just one of him. i can't imagine a carbon copy - i would be insane. and we're wanting another as well - maybe we're crazy!
