Cramping??

Hello Mamas! I hope you are all doing well! I have a been there, done that question- i'm about 5 weeks preg. i had a beta a week ago today (75) and another on that following mon (279). i'm now having a lot of cramping and some lower back pain. i don't know if it's some strange gas or what...have any of you ever experienced this? i'm kinda worried...but that's nothing new. lol. any thoughts?

I always have cramping the first 9-10 weeks of pregnancy. I was told it was round ligament pain and stretching. As long as you're not bleeding, I wouldn't worry too much about it. From my experience (3rd pregnancy now) cramping in the first trimester is normal. Maybe someone else has some better advice for you though.

Sorry you are worried mama! I cramped a lot with both of my PGs...so I wouldn't worry to much a/b it. Sticky bean vibes!!!

I had HORRIBLE aching & cramping at the beginning of this pg but it eventually went away. IMO its your body getting adjusted to being 2 people instead of 1. i hope that helps & you feel better soon.

I cramped the entire first trimester mama! I would worry too much unless you have heavy bleeding. Its all a part of the "process"

I cramped a lot during all of my pregnancies. I actually had a period for 3 months with my first dd.

Does it feel like you are going to start your period or just crampy in your side, etc?

I cramped with all 5 of my pregnancies..especially in the early months. Try not to worry mama!

I'd say it feels more along the lines starting my period, but not exactly that. thanks for all your support and advice mamas! it helps a ton!

I'll say a little prayer for you Rebecca, but I'm sure it's like the other posts said.. with my 2nd and 3rd I had it, and they said that it was round lig pain, and my uterus beefin up for the babys "apartment"... That reassured me.. That, and by the time I was preggo with number three, I'm sure my ligaments and muscles just dropped back into prego place.. Like ooh.. she's pregnant.. We give up.. flop.

We will be thinking about you! You can call your doctor too if you are worried. I think most people cramp some in early pregnancy.
