I want to try out nfp, but I need a thermometer will a regular one work or do I want to get a basal body temp one?

also are there any online charting sites for nfp that are free?

Just a regular BBT will work you can get them at Walmart for under $5 if you want to spend $7 you can get one with a CHART

but I would just get the cheapy.

Get a account on Fertility Friend(its good!) & get the book "taking control of your fertility" it is very good!!!
DONT buy it new there is TONS of used ones & to be honest I think I have 2....yhea I but ALOT of used books from thrift stores***but that is another topic*** & if you want one I can send it to you if you want to pay shipping

Oh & there is some Mama's on here that are AMAZING with charting I can say that Kimmie & Robin (songbird) have been sooo much help for me more so then TCOYF but of course my cycles are soooo crazy that I like to ask questions & not read

THANKS Roxy!! I use FF, but wish I hadn't paid for a year so I could use TCOYF. From what I have seen it is better, plus u pay for it once and it is yours for life. But FF is adequate if that is what u want
