When did you start brushing your DCs teeth?

I started using the infant toothbrush with fluoride free toothpaste once she got her first tooth. She comes in the bathroom with me and hangs out while I floss and rinse. Then I hold her and we brush at the same time. She gets such a kick out of it.

started when we started solids a week ago. DD is 10 months today. I am using an infant tooth brush(colgate) and oral-b stages baby toothpaste. She doesn't mind it. I have a hard time getting the fronts because i have to kind of lift up(or down) her lip and she isn't into that.
She has 4 teeth all the way in, 2 through the gum, and 2 more on the bottom almost through.

I started using a wash cloth when he first got his tooth in. Now that he has several I use a baby tooth brush (he's 13 months)

I've used a soft warm damp washcloth on her gums from the get go. When she got her first two teeth in (she got them at the same time) I got one of those finger brushes with the toothpaste for babies. We brush them every day twice. She loves it although has bitten my finger a few times ow

My DD was the same way! We started out with the brush early on, though, because I wanted her to get used to doing it. Now she loves picking out a new toothbrush and enjoys using it. The main thing is not to use fluoride toothpaste too early, it can actually be bad for your kiddo. We used some Orajel stuff, but I don't know that it's actually the best.

My ds has issues with things in his mouth - he gags and cries and pushes the toothbrush away like I am trying to shove a bowling ball into his mouth. So I will hand him the brush, and sometimes he will chew it, sometimes not, but I can't see pinning him down to do it - I am afraid that would make him traumatized for life or something...
He also won't take a bottle or pacifier, and does the same thing - gagging and fighting, and he did the same with foods at first. We just try to go real easy, since he obviously has issues in that area.

I bought DD a little toothbrush and I keep it with mine. When I brush my teeth I get her toothbrush out as well. I wet it for her and brush her two little teeth and then let her chew on it while I finish brushing mine. She thinks it is hilarious fun! We haven't started using any toothpaste yet.

My DD loves brushing her teeth. She didn't get her first tooth until about a year ago (when she was about 11.5 months) and we started brushing then. She brushes every day with daddy.... gets her toothpaste and climbs up on a chair. DH sings the Brush Your Teeth song and she dances. It's priceless.

I started as soon as they got teeth.
ds was 10 months old and dd was 7 months old.
we started out using the toothbrush and toothpaste that comes together in a package- i cant remember the name of it, i think it was made my oragel? it had little bear i believe on the front of the package, got it in the baby dept at our local store
now my kids just have regular toddler toothbrushes with little kids toothpaste.
