How do you bathe babies in this in between stage? She is too big for the infant bath and sits up in it constantly but too small to be just put in the bathtub sitting alone. I thought of one of those circle things with the suction cups but they dont make them anymore!

How the heck do you wash a baby this age?

I get in the tub with my ds every night! He's 10 1/2 months old- and we LOVE bath time!!

Yup, I've been taking baths with my son since he was LITTLE. We still do it - although I'm running out of room, LOL. I think after I give birth this time we'll probably stop, but it was fun while it lasted. I always felt like I had more time to bond.

Well, since our bath has needed repairing for over a year, I still put the infant bathtub in our shower and bathe the baby that way. I use it as a mini-bath tub where he sits up in it but he is still getting clean. I have one of those seats if you would like it, I would sell it to you cheap! We never used it as it was still packed away after we moved and I never unpacked it! LOL

garage sales often have those bath seats, and i think bru has them too. however, my boys don't like to sit in the one they have, i just put a mat on the bottom of the tub and let them crawl around. i only put a couple (like 2) inches of water. but yes, they stand up and slip and its generally pretty crazy. i have gotten to the point where i only wash them a couple times a week. i know, im bad, but that's how it is.

My son has been taking baths with us since he was VERY little. In fact, I think we only used the baby bath tub maybe 4 times? He took a bath in the kitchen sink once too.

He loves to play in the shower, so I usually just sit him in the far end of the tub while I take a shower and let him play with his ducks. He splashes and loves the shower water running over him. Once I'm clean I'll just sit down and rub him down with baby shampoo, then let the shower rinse him off. My DS is 8 mo now and we've been doing this since he could sit up well. Before that I'd just hold him in the shower and bathe him, then hand him off to DH to dry while I showered (or vice versa).

If your DC is sitting up well, just put some grip things on the bottom of your tub and let him sit in there and see how he does. You might be surprised!

I either get in the tub with her or bathe her in the kitchen sink. The main part is really deep and the sprayer is handy for washing her hair. (She's 9mos, for reference.)

we used one of those safety first swival bath chairs.

My son doesnt like the infant bath tub, so I had to get creative. I bought one of those narrow, under the bed, storage containers (only deep enough for maybe a light comforter), and I put water in that, and we sit it on the floor in the living room. I put plastic type toys in it, and he loves it.

If Im not feeling like doing that.. I wait till hubby comes home from work, and hubby and Dakota take a shower together.

You can find those infant rings on ebay. I found a couple this morning when I looked.
