I have bathed both DD in the big bath as soon as their stumps fell off. I just put an inch or 2 of water, just enough that I can swirl the washcloth in and use a cup to hair wet.When they were tiny I used my bath pillow to raise their head and upper body up out of the water and a wash cloth across their belly to keep them from getting cold. Obviously you still have to sit there w/ them and make sure they don't hurt themselves, but they have never known any different and it works fine for my girls (4 and 1)

I use the kitchen sink until they can't fit in them! My 3 year old still fits in the sink! LOL! It bothers me to kneel on the hard bathroom floor and bend over into the tub. Our tub is a little big and we have glass doors...makes it hard.

Since birth I have bathed with my dd. But when my DH bathes her a few times a week we would use a bath ring seat, but now we use the no slip mat in the tub, because she wants to stand and we can't get her to sit in it anymore,lol. Sometimes we also take her in the shower.

With ds I had a bath seat and he loved it. I had one with dd and she hated it. Our infant tub was an infant to toddler one so we used that until she was secure in sitting (then we got foam for her to sit on in the tub until I was secure with her being secure).

with DD #1 we took her in the bath with one of us. with DD#2 since snce #1 was still small when Rissa started sitting up we just put them in the bath together and stayed in the room with them to supervise. We had a no-slip bath mat and if they were moving around too much then it was time to get out.

Both my girls have been in the bathtub since they could sit up. Now, DD#2 wants to crawl around and play. It's pretty fun watching DD#1, who's 2 playing with DD#2, who's almost 8 mos.! I usually just put a couple inches of water in with the youngest crawling around, but they both love it!!!

I used to and still do sometimes take my DD in the shower with me. I put her in the big tub with a non-slip mat and just kept a hand on her with only 2 inches of water. As she gotten bigger, she slides around a bit, but she thinks its kinda fun.

We have one of those ducky blow up things that fits inside the tub. It is smaller to hold baby, but definitely larger than an infant seat. I never used it in the bath because I forgot about it. We blew it up just to see what it looked like, but that was it. I think it is by Munchkin. You can have it FFS if you want.

Look on ebay under Bath ring...there are several baby bath seats selling.

Until Delaney was a little bigger, I bathed her on one of those sponges in the kitchen sink. She just sat on it so she wouldn't slip around.

Now, I put her in the big bath tub with a big non-slip mat down in it. I only put a few inches of water in there unless I'm going to take a bath with her.
