My son thinks its funny when we suck him with the vacuum on his foot, or act like we're going to. If he got something stuck up his nose, I *might* try it before we went to the ER. We wouldn't tell anyone we did it though.

My brothers stuck beans (both cooked and uncooked), pasta, cheerios, fruit loops (!), pennies, and one very unfortunate lego-man's head up their noses and/or down their ears. My mom had her share of ER visits to have their "experiments" removed, and no one ever taught her that trick - she sure could have used it! I will definately have to keep that in mind - given ds's uncles and thier nasal exploits, I am sure we will have our hands full!
