How about we break it up like this for the US since the "areas" are so confusing to people:

New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania
Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island

Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico
Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska

I totally understand the Midwest/great plains/great lakes thing as I grew up in southern Indiana. Where I lived wasn't considered plains OR lakes OR really Midwest lol
But I live in Appalachia. I think it'd be kind of cool to have a group incorporating WV/Eastern KY/Eastern TN, Western VA, and NC. Actually, I think the mountain strain runs from PA to GA but I don't think most people in central PA and in NE GA consider themselves Appalachians.

Ok, so I am from Louisville, KY... is there a place I should be posting or am I supposed to pick an area that is close? I would think there would be a Midwest forum, whether or not that is an appropriate label is semantics I guess... but isn't that what the weather channel calls this area?

So yeah... just don't know where to post.
I'd love to meet other local CDing moms.
