Swimming

I'm supposed to take Riley to a swim party this weekend for my niece. Yay! Riley's never been swimming before! It should be fun.
My question is this, we don't have a swim diaper, but wouldn't a FB without an insert work fine to contain any poo that might happen?
What's your experience with this? We have swim trunks and a matching hat with turtles on it so he's going to look hella cute.

We just started taking Isabel to the pool. Used a swim dipe the first time, a Daisy Doodle shell the second - I much preferred the DD shell so that's what we'll be using from now on.
