My 4 yr old didnt talk until age 18 mons he just baabled but our second one who is only 6 mons has already said baba, dada, mama you name it !!! Every kids is sooo diferent ...haha and I cant spell

When Gavin was 1, he could only say a couple of words:
dada
doh (dog)
ba-ba (bye-bye)
and that was it. He always seemed to understand us just fine, and when he turned 2, he really only had about 25 words or so... Then when his sister was born (he was 2 1/4) he really took off and now we can't shut him up, lol!
Claire is almost 11 months and she only says dada, Tata (dog's name is Taz), nanananana (no-no-no) and they swore she said "car" at daycare. She babbles a lot, though, way more than we remember Gavin doing at the same age. I've heard girls pick up speech faster than boys, so we'll see where she is in 6 months...

My son just turned 1 two weeks ago and he says mama, dada, bubba (what we call him) and I think he's said uh-oh in the last few days. He signs dada, more and claps ALL the time when we say "yay".

I know she says more but I can't think of them right now....But this is all coming from a 14.5 who isn't officially walking...took a few steps here and there but still cruising & crawling!

My dd didnt "officially" walk until she was almost 14mos too, maybe your dd & mine were more interested in socialization via chatting than walking to meet people, LOL! My other 2 walked at 12 & 11mos & were no where near as verbal as #3 until they were about 18mos.

Oh & we have a "new" word this week....."bar-e" for Barney, LOL!

Not much yet, she'll be 1 next week. Morgan(oldest) was a chtterbox by this time lol.

Meghan is 9.5 months old (sorry had to but in) and can say..

ba ba (bottle)

She also goes OOHHHHH when she sees something she likes, like in my pic she makes that O shape with her mouth, its SO cute!

She can only sign "milk", but I have been slacking lately with signing.

Pretty darn good for a 9 month old I say.. lol
