hylands, how do you give it to your child.

All this talk of Hylands,
I used hylands colic for my DD when she was a newborn and I dissolved them in a tiny bit of water. She is now 5 months and getting ready to teeth. How do you all give the tablets. Do you think I could just drop the on her mouth or should I crush them or still mix with water?

We usually put one in her mouth and then quickly put a teething toy in her mouth and as she chews on it the tablet dissolves.

I put the tablet in DS's mouth. Even as a NB I did this w/Hyland's.

I kinda stick it to my finger and put my finger in his mouth. He sucks it off and they dissolve almost immediately.

This post got me to wondering what hyland's taste like so I took one it has a gross aftertaste but my teeth don't hurt any more

We just kinda rubbed them on his teeth until they were dissolved.

I hold it for a second under the tongue. It dissolves almost instantly there. I swear the Hyland's teething tablets have made such a difference for all 3 of my kids. Ava just cut her first 2 teeth about a month ago (early!!), and she was in a lot of pain with it. These things were great!

I also think their earache tablets work well. I usually give them if Motrin is wearing off & it's not time to give it again.

When they were teeny I would dissolve the tablet in a teaspoon of water and spoonfeed it to them. By 8+ months I would just stick them in their mouths. They do dissolve super fast.

We just put them straight into their mouth - they dissolve really quickly. Also, according to most homeopaths, you are not supposed to touch or handle the tablets - dispense drectly into the bottle cap and then into the mouth.
