Fenugreek over time

I've got a question that maybe somebody can answer. I've been using Fenugreek for about 3 months now. In the beginning it worked great-smelled like maple syrup. But now it seems to be less effective and no maple syrup smell. I'm taking 4 pills 2-3 times a day. Does the effects wear off after a while of using it? I also have Blessed Thisle but it didn't seem to help.

I'm not sure. I used a fenugreek/brewers' yeast combination intermittantly when I needed to get my supply up. I didn't use it daily and after awhile I didn't notice the maple syrup smell. It may still be working? You just are more accustomed to it?

I used fenugreek (3 pills 3 times a day) for just about 4 months straight (occasional breaks in there when I needed to buy new) The smell never went away! If you drink extra water it dilutes the smell a bit, but not much. Using perfume to cover it up just makes it stanky. I learned to live with it.
