Need to find a new pediatrician

I am posting this on a few message boards...

We are moving to Marlborough, MA this upcoming Friday. (zip 01752)

I need to find a new and EXCELLENT (obviously) pediatrician for my 11-month-old DS, preferably close to where we live.
Also, I would prefer a ped who is willing to delay vaxing, is extended breastfeeding friendly, co-sleeping friendly... generally has a positive attitude towards natural living.

Does anyone know how and where I can find a pediatrician like that?

There is a yahoo group called AP_Doctor_Referral

Most AP friendly doctors are generally more easygoing about vaxing, and of course other AP practices.

If there isn't anything in the database for your area, search through the posts for your city - and if you don't find anything post a question to the group, I'm sure someone can help you!

I have found that one of the best and free resources for getting a referral to anyone or anything is FreeCycle!

Freecycle doesn't just have to be about obtaining or getting rid of items, it can also be for sharing information.

We just recently moved to a new area and have used Freecycle to find our doctor, naturopath, realtor, mortgage company, etc. It has been fantastic and people love to refer their good experiences. It is a lot easier than sifting throught the phonebook.

AP doctor referral is great too but there is very little information for doctors in my area so it didn't help me.

Just go to www.freecycle.org to find the nearest freecycle group to where you are moving to.
