I am going to try making my own detergent, but I forgot to get the borax! We've been using vinegar for a while now and I love it! I would like to try it with some EO...

Just wanted to add if you don't find fels naptha in the laundry aisle, I always find it shelved with the other bar soaps like dial and dove. So look there if you don't see it in the laundry aisle.

so then you can't make your own soap for diapers?

Ok, i just got back from save-a-lot and for 59 cents a bar ( these are huge double sized bard) I got Zote pink laundry soap for a delicate wash. 14.1 oz made in Mexico. on the back it says use for baby cloths, cloth diapers, dishes, and laundry! How cool. minimum of 66% fatty acid content.
