Re: Gerber Lil Dippers
Bram likes them, but he didn't have the coordination to use them at all until he was a little older.

I was thinking something to use to feed her. She seems to be a little slow in the fine motor area

Re: Gerber Lil Dippers
Someone gave them to me at my shower. He's 8 months and I've tried them. He doesn't put th edipper in the food himself yet.I do it and hand it to him. They work okay. To be honest, I get the same result when I hand him the spoon full of food. I think they might be useful when he's really trying to feed himself indepdently.

Re: Gerber Lil Dippers
Yeah, Bram is kind of too... He's really small for his age.
I don't know... I've never tried using them to feed him. As I understand it, they're more for the baby to practice with. Plus, since her first solids will be very runny, you probably won't be able to keep much on the little dipper. I would think that it might even be a little messier than a spoon anyway but then again, I've never tried it! |

Re: Gerber Lil Dippers
I bought them for dd when she was about 13 months and trying to grab the spoon from me, so she could try to be more independant......I wasn't impressed. What a mess!!!! Much better results with a spoon here/

Re: Gerber Lil Dippers
They made great teethers in our house! LOL My DD didn't want to just hold the handle, it was a mess. She prefered to use her hands I guess!
