Diaper Swappers

I am a new poster here but have been stalking for awhile.

My dd had a baby in April and she was looking forward to natural cb, ebf, and cloth diapers.But things did not go that way.

Long story short, she had to be induced, baby got stuck and she needed an epidural

Then the baby could not latch. No reasoning to be found why not, she just couldn't do it.

So my dd has been e/p ing and is exhausted from it. She was concerned how much longer she could go with it....and tonight...yeah....

...for the first time since birth...my lil g-baby latched on and was lovin it...YEAH.

I am so happy I had to share.....

That is fantastic! A prayer answered!
I had a similar story. I was induced. My daughter was posterior and so got stuck in the birth canal. They had to use vacuum suction to get her out. The LC told me that babies that have traumatic births such as that usually have a hard time latching and nursing. Thankfully my daughter did not have any problems whatsoever. Praise God. I'm thankful to know that your daughter and granddaughter are going to share a wonderful nursing relationship from here on out! That's something to celebrate about!

persistance does pay off!

I exclusively pumped for the first month after my youngest was born. He wouldn't latch.. then he just figured it out.. and we nursed for just over a year
