I have to 2nd the opinion of trying to relax and not let the ER doc get you worked up! I went in with HEAVY bleeding during my first pregnancy and they had me all freaked out when it was nothing! I now have a bright 9 yr old boy to show for it! I would call your local OB and explain that you are cash paying and what would they charge for a one time visit with an ultrasound and see if you can work something out with them.

I would also go ahead and talk to your midwife and explain situation to her as well. EVERY midwife I know is more than willing to try to work with their clients and I would bet yours would too. My midwife used to charge $30 per office visit until insurance kicked in. Maybe you could work something out with her to be able to be seen until your insurance kicks in.

Hugs mama, I'll keep you in my prayers. FWIW, I was told something very similar early along with Corey - the words impending demise were used - and he is here 13mo now.

yeah impending demise is on the end of the note they wrote too...i think that is what hurt the most is that they wouldn't even give options...they acted like m/c was the only option...the bleeding has slowed a bit from yesterday and the little clots are gone

so hopefully it all stops in a couple days and i can go from there...thank you guys so much

Hang in there and stay strong! Try to rest as much as you can and watch a funny movie to take your mind off of the negative Dr. and his dumb words.

I hope everything works out for you. The heartrate & sac formation have me a bit worried though. I went thru the same thing 3 times.

this is DH again. she is back in the hospital tonight, overnight for observation of her and the baby. we don't know anything new yet. hopefully we will in a couple days. she will email everyone she's dealing with when she's back or if its going to be a while i will later this week.
