How many oz does a 9-month old drink at once?

Title says it all. I'm trying to pump and build a freezer stash because I'm going to be attending my friend's birth as her doula, and knowing it could be 24 hours or more I need some frozen milk on hand. Dd never gets pumped milk so I have no idea how much she drinks in a sitting. If you other mamas of 9-month olds could let me know how much your lo's drink at once I can portion out accordingly into freezer storage bags. Thanks!

DS rarely has a bottle of EBM but when he does it is around 5 ounces, he usually sucks that all down. He nurses every 2 hours during the day and my guesstimate is that he gets about 4 ounces at each nursing session. HTH

eta: I freeze in increments varying from 2-5 ounces. Have some smaller ones on hand in case the amount given is not enough and your caregiver needs to give like 2 more oz.

Well, I don't pump, so I can't say about BMilk, but if I give him formula in a bottle he will usually eat around 7 oz

My 8 1/2 month old is in day care. On the daycare days, she takes 3-4 bottles of about 4-5 ounces each.

We nurse at bedtime, and sometime between coming home and bed time. A few times during the night, and not usually in the morning before daycare since she's nursed through the night. I don't know how much she's taking in overnight.

just started a new job and ill be working at night... but i had training this week. i have an 7 1/2 month old that my friend has been watching... i feed him at 6am before i leave and she gave him 3 bottles with 4 oz each. hope that helps. oh by the way... bm and formula are much different and bm is much fattier (if thats a word) so formula babies get more than bm babies.

My 8.5 month old, I don't know how much he gets in a nursing session, but dh feeds ebm during the day while I'm at work. Usually he'll eat 8-10 ounces in an 8 hour time frame. He eats about every 2 hours and has anywhere from 2-3 ounces in one time.

6oz about every 3 hours or so. She is a big baby though

My LO eats 12 oz while I'm gone for about 10 hours a day. She has 4 3oz bottles. Yesterday we tried to do 3 4 oz bottles and she wouldn't take all 4 oz at one time.

LLL says multiply your baby's weight by 2.5 and that is how many oz. your baby needs in 24 hrs.

Both mine ate 4-5 oz per feeding at that age.

I've been watching this, because I've been wondering the same thing myself, as formula numbers don't seem to be the same, but my word!!...can this be right...my 15 or so lb. 9 mo dd would be eating over 37 oz. a day!!...the stuff would be coming out her nose! As of now here's what we're doing with her eating 3 "solid" meals a day in addition to nursing/bm bottles:

nurse in a.m.
4 oz. with breakfast
4 oz. with lunch
larger 6 or 7 oz. bottle around 4:00
nurse between dinner and bedtime

She just had her 9 mo. well visit, and though she's always been on the small side, she is developmentally right where she should be and is growing well.
