tandem nursing a 25 mth old and 7 mth old...in public??

my 2 year old still would like to nurse in public especially when she sees her brother nursing....so when we are at the zoo or 'out' somewhere DH must take her elsewhere so i can nurse DS or she will throw a fit....there is just no way to tandem nurse in public for me, i would be topless and that is just not pretty so im just looking for some advice on what to do with a toddler that still wants to nurse in public?

I have only 1 child...so I cannot speak from experience. However, my best friend has a 3 1/2 year old and a just turned 2 yr old and she tandem nurses then whenever and wherever they want. Both of the kiddos know that "mommie's nursies" have to be covered up when they are not at home. She wears nursing shirts and if need be covers with a light sheet/blanket, etc.

No personal experience, and I know your LO is young (just over 2), but what if you gave her a 'job' of sorts? What if she was 'foot massager' or 'bum patter' or something for her younger sib. while she waited her turn for mommy time. She's young so that may not work and it's SO hard to wait, but maybe if she could somehow be a helper with her little sib it would be a bit easier. Good luck!
