How often does your ebf baby wake?

Caroline is 6½ months old and nurses every 3-4 hrs during the day and every 2-3 hrs through the night. It doesn't bother me though as we co-sleep (just her & me) and I barely wake up to nurse her. She sleeps on the other side of our queen-sized bed against a bedrail so we don't bother one another

I don't have any advice to offer you but I will say that I agreed with the PP who said that it doesn't matter if the baby is ebf or ff...it's more of a "baby" thing. My first would wake about every hour, or if my nipple fell out of his mouth. My second wakes about 2 times per night: eats, rolls over and falls back asleep.

I hope that you can find some rest soon. It's so hard when your sleep is so interrupted. If it makes you feel better, my son is a GREAT sleeper now at 4.5.

We co-slept too, until he started wiggling WHILE nursing, sleeping etc and kicking me in the ribs. I used to sleep through him nursing, NOT anymore. That's why my sleep is so disrupted, little man kicks are not comfortable!

I put my 3 1/2 month old EBF little lady down at around 8pm and she generally sleeps until around 3:45 am, I change her, feed her and she goes back to sleep until around 8:30 AM, on a bad night she gets up every 2-3 hours. I don't think it has anything to do with BF'din,and more to do with the personality of the baby!

My almost 7 month old wakes between 2-4 times per night. Ocassionally if he is having a growth spurt it will be more like 3-5 times per night...but not clue when he will start sleeping through. Will be nice!!
