A stinging pain??

So I noticed after I nursed DS at 5 this morning that afterward my nipple has this stinging type pain. It's weird. Now I've had every other kind of nipple pain and I live with cracks, but this is different. I can't see anything. It hurts sometimes when nursing, other times not, but it does bother me when I'm NOT nursing. Any ideas? It's weird! Hard to figure if it'll "heal" when I can't see anything that needs to!

Just to state- I Have had thrush and it's NOT thrush...

i get that sometimes too. i figure its either from my dry skin/ nipples being irritated or maybe milk filling quickly. i have veins that run right next to my nipples and sometimes they get sharp pains if ds has been compressing that area when nursing. thats my best guess.

I feel that when my milk lets down but I'm sure that's not what you have.

It could be let down, or it could be a yeast infection.
