Re: does your baby sleep through the night?

oh my ! I think I would just die ! I am surprised that so many of you have wee ones who still wake.

Greyson was EBF (well breast milk in bottle) until around 4.5 months. Then he had a mix of BM and formula. He started only waking once per night around 4 months and then about 5.5 months just started sleeping through from 7p-7a.

Now he is almost a year and normally sleeps from 8-7or8am. Teeth and things that like cause him to stay up later and just recently last week we are moving to crib so he has been waking once a few nights of that but goes right back down without any intervention.

I so hope those of you who are still bug eyed and tired get some sleep soon!

Re: does your baby sleep through the night?

DD is 22 mos and sometimes sleeps through the night, but not usually. She recently chose to start sleeping in her own bed. If she wakes up at night she'll come running into our bedroom to nurse, and then spends the rest of the night with us. I don't mind being woken up once or twice overnight to nurse; she's old enough to latch herself on without totally waking me up anyway. We've never done sleep training, but I assure you we've had plenty of crazy nights with multiple and constant wakings, especially around teething times. They just outgrow it, eventually. I guess I never had high expectations that she was supposed to sleep through the night as a baby, and now that she's older I can see her gradually learning to sleep through the night on her own. But who knows how long it'll take?
