what age did your LO's eyes change color?

what age did your LO's eyes change color? so far LO has blue eyes, but is only 11 months old... i'd be surprised if they stay blue... but am wondering how soon they will change color? DH & i both had blue eyes as kids, but no longer!!

My dd#1 had blue until just over 12m. Then they changed to green.

DD#2 had darker blue eyes until around 12m and they changed to crystal blue.

DD#3 is almost 5m and they are a darker blue...can't wait to see what happens

But they say that whatever color they are going to be will happen around six months...normally

My sons eyes have been hazel/green since he was about 4-5 mo old They are the exact same color as my eyes

My second sone's eyes were dark dark blue when he was born and they have gotten progressively lighter since. At 3 mo old they are a cornflower blue, same color as my husband's eyes so they might stay.

i had never heard 6 months. if so, it is interesting that all yours seemed to be around 12 months!

personally, i remember being old enough to look at my eyes in the mirror and they were blue, so i would guess this was around 3 years old, b/c i don't remember much before that. but they are no longer blue!

Logan's eyes were beautiful blue until he was around 2. Now they're kind of a greeny hazel.

Evan is 16 months and his are still blue.

Mine are blue and dh's are kind of greenish so we'll see if Evan's change to that color, too.

DS is 12m and his eyes have yet to change since birth. I'm still unsure what exact color to call them either

They're kinda hazel in the center going to a dark bluish grey on the outside.


Both DH and I have brown eyes as does DS#1. Were hoping they don't change at all, our family needs some more color

Lilys are still blue at 18 months. I would be shocked if they changed at this point. She has her daddys eyes so I wasn't too suprised.

I come from a family of all brown eyes so I'm psyched. They did get a little greyer though when she turned 1

Yeah they say they change within the first year but my mother swears I was several years old before mine turned green. My dd still has blue eyes. I don't know if they'll stay that way...it all depends on what genes my husband inherited from his father and what he passed on...hehe Because my dh has brown eyes.
