All my dd's bibs are stained with baby food! Help!

Title pretty much says it all...my dd's bibs are all stained with baby food. I tried Oxy Baby, and it didn't work. They're all set-in stains. Any solutions? I want to be able to use these bibs for future children, and I don't want them looking gross! Also, my dd has a bunch of pants that are stained with dirt/grass...any suggestions there?

You can try to sun them, but if the stains are set, they are set. Think about it though...they are BIBS. They are supposed to catch food and drool. Is it REALLY a big deal if they are stained when your next child wears them? Honestly?

Try totally toddler stain remover bought at BRU. Works great!

Make a paste out of Shout gel (or your favorite stain remover or detergent) and baking soda. Scrub this on stain with a firm toothbrush until as much is gone as possible with scrubbing. Then splash on a little white vinegar and let it foam for a couple minutes. Rinse with water as hot as is safe for fabric. Pretreat again with a little more stain remover or detergent and toss into regular wash cycle immediately.

As long as they're serving their purpose of keeping the mess off of clothing, who cares?

I do have a handful of bibs I really like that are handmade from etsy. Those I just rinse off at the sink after every use. Its helped keep any stains from setting in. You can also try oil cloth bibs with pockets. We have a few of these also and they wipe off easily while the pocket catches what isn't absorbed.

these are the bibs we use-

it probably doesn't matter if they have stains but it's nice for it to look clean IMO. and nothing wrong with OP wanting them clean. i've thrown a few away that just got too bad. i figured if 1st baby deserves as clean as possible so does the second. I'll be reusing stained clothes and some stained bibs but bibs are cheap and cheaply made so more can be purchased cheaply if the stains don't come out.

Biz! It is great on stains! The powder is much better than the liquid. I use it on the girls clothes and it gets most all stains out.
