UGH! Bringing Home Baby on TLC right now...sigh.

The couple just brought home a baby from an orphanage in china and the mom wanted to take a shower and told the dad to let her cry it out. They just brought her home! Poor baby is sooo confused and scared! The dad picked her up though. YAY!

I have a friend who saw that episode and she said it made her want to cry it was so sad. Sometimes new parents think they're doing what is best because they read it in a book or someone told them it was the best thing, even if their gut instinct says otherwise. Fortunatly there was someone else there who listened to their gut and not a book/person!

I don't usually judge parenting choices, but that is just plain sad. That poor baby needs to be held and loved on. Crazy mom.

How unfortunate to want a baby so bad you go to China to adopt and then allow the poor thing to lay there and cry. That really make me sad.

I saw that one a while ago, I think. Wasn't the dad worried about what the mom would say if she knew he'd picked the baby up?

Either way, so sad. New place, new people, and she's just supposed to adjust?

I can not watch these shows for various reasons, and I don't want to break our TV by throwing things at it. LOL
