If you have never used bleach on his diapers before then I'd be really careful. I did it once when dd had a yeast rash and I'm sorry I ever did it. It burned her entire diaper area. It took me weeks to get it out of the diapers completely so that it didn't burn her anymore, literally, it looked like a BAD sunburn everywhere the diaper touched..

Just be careful!

So sorry mama. I have a sick kiddo but nowhere near what you are dealing with. I hope you get it sorted soon. Just a thought, we had roseola earlier this winter. It was a few days of super high fevers and then the rash finally came out. It's hard to diagnose before that happens though.

don't mean to bring up a vaccin. debate; but when was his last shots? Could he MIGHT be having a reaction?

Also did they give him medicine for allergic reaction? Maybe when your dh took him for a walk he got bit, inhaled/breathed in something that he had a reaction too.

Is he teething? When they are the immune system is lowered so babies are more likly to get a virus.

We are delay vaxers and his last shots were April 2nd they were his 4 month shots. Its not that. Teething yes but it wouldnt make the temp this high and him this lathargic......he was up at 6 and asleep again by 6:30 and he hasnt woken again.

Hey mama, This sounds like what my son had at about one year old, however, he had a stomach bug (viral) along with the blue lips and limbs.....He ended up in the hospital on IVs because of dehydration (not the blue lips) His pediatrician said that sometimes babies or kids with high fevers get the blue lips (think about when you were little and when you got out of the pool with blue lips) He said that if his tongue was blue that that would be reason for concern.
