Need help-best baby swing?? Need to buy one tonight!

My baby swing just died-my dh took it apart and says the motor's shot, I LOVE my baby swing, my nb pretty much lives in it, if he's not attached to me, and I need to get a new one tonight or I will lose my mind! They do not make my kind any more so I need input please, which one do you have and do u like it? I will be going to Target so my choices will be limited but if I have a list of recommendations, I should be able to find something there that's good-and I need to spend under $100 on it. Please give your input! sara

I like the fisher price cradle swings. They are a few diff. kind. We have the rainforest collection one. DD loved the swing when she was a newborn, too!

thanks! I checked and our local target has both of those-but the rainforest one is $99 while the papsan one is $140 so I think we'll go with the rainforest one, unless someone else chimes in with another recommendation sara

we got the butterfly papasan BNIP off craigslist for $75 try there

I agree with PP's. DS hated going front-to-back it got his tummy and he loved the side-to-side motion of the FP Amazon papasan chair. We got our used off ebay for right about $90 shipped and that was over a year ago. I mean if someone uses it for one kid it only sees 7 months use max right? HTH

We have a FP power plus swing - takes batteries or plugs into the wall. It's not a cradle swing, but has worked well with our newborn - I wanted a swing that would last beyond the nb stage, so I stayed away from the cradle swings. We used it for the first time today and it's awesome - so quiet and dd2 loves it, plus no batteries! We got it used off craigslist and paid $25.

I've used our FP Papasan nature swing on both kids- I don't know WHAT I would do without it, they both love/d it!!
