10-month old grinding her teeth?
My 10-month dd has her front two bottom teeth and four front upper teeth. The last couple weeks she has started grinding her teeth randomly, making a really unpleasant noise. Dh gets really upset because he thinks she is going to damage her teeth, while I think it's just a phase that she is playing with her new teeth and will probably pass. Should I be more concerned about it? I mean, dh has two older daughters and he said they never did this and it's REALLY worrying him, however he IS the worrywart in the family when it comes to dd so I don't know if I'm blowing off something to be concerned about. TIA!

Re: 10-month old grinding her teeth?
HI mama!
My dd did this too and I posted about it because it was so annoying and I thought her teeth wold get wrecked. It is a phase. My dd did it, stopped for a long time and is now doing it again actually. Also it does not damage their teeth according to some posters in my thread about it. I just put my finger in her mouth and say, "please stop", usually she will get distracted with something else that's going on. I know, super annoying, but it will pass.

Ah, that fun phase.
When my daughter went through it, I was reassured that it is passing and they're too young to really do any damage in the meanwhile.

It's normal! I think most kids do it. It's one of those "because I can" things. Something they can control.
She wont cause any damage!
