? about DD P'Ling-not sure if she is ready or not

OK. DD (DC#3) is grabbing at her dipe when she is wet, does this mean that she is ready to start training? I have only had boys so I am not sure if the signs are different. I don't remember the boys doing this and she is almost 21mths old. I just don't want to try too soon as I have heard that can back fire. TIA

Hey sis! Well, as you know, I'm still working on PL'ing DS. I would say give it a whirl! No pressure, though... just be casual, and see if she's interested. If not, you can always try again later.

I say to give it a try too. If she's not intersted, it's no big deal, but if she is it's probably better to go with it than to brush it off. One of my 2 1/2 year olds has been doing this, and asking to be changed as he's peeing, for half a year though, and he's still not using the potty - don't know what that's about since he can go on the potty and will ask to put a dipe on if he's in trainers, but that's a whole other post...
