Trimmest most absorbant inserts?

That are NOT hemp, that is. I've been using hemparoos in our fb's for a long time and they've been great. But now what he's getting older he's flooding them quicker than the hemp can absorb, so we've had a lot of leaking around the legs. I've avoided microfiber 'cause I thought they were puffy and bulky looking - I love the diaper to be as trim as possible. Are there trim microfiber inserts? Or? What would you suggest?

I have the MOE microfiber inserts and I don't think that they are all that puffy.

Well, depending on the size of your baby, I think Cotton Babies microfiber inserts can be trim. If you're using them on a small baby, then I can see how it would be bulky, but I don't think they are bulky at all on my skinny 14 month old.

I second the MOE inserts. They are definately trimmer than CB (which are still puffy on my 10 month old).

Re: Trimmest most absorbant inserts?

I use hemp inserts and I have a heavy wetter. I purchased these microfiber towels from Target a(auto section - by Vroom 14x14 towels) and I wrap the hemp insert in that. Its bulky but not as bulky as it would be w/ a hemp insert and a microterry one. The towel catches the pee and then it has time to sink into the hemp. W/o the towel, I had leaks.
