Re: Homemade Christmas gifts?
for my aunt and uncle i just bake them cookies and bread. I also make gifts in a jar (like various mix starters and then attach a card that has directions and other ingredients that are needed on it)

Re: Homemade Christmas gifts?
gifts in a jar are wonderful things, lol. I made up a ton last year for family when we were WAY broke. I also did some handmade ornaments for each one. You'd be amazed at what you can do with a few fabric scraps, lol.

Re: Homemade Christmas gifts?
I usually make assorted cookies, but I think this year I'm going to try my hand at nuts and candies. I'm thinking peanut brittle, toffee, and those glazed spice almond/pecans you can find at fairs. Packaged in a pretty tin or jar and I think they'll go over well.

Re: Homemade Christmas gifts?
I like making Homemade cookies and breads. The mix's in a jar are fun too. This year I'm making fleece blankets for my DH side of the family.

Re: Homemade Christmas gifts?
I make a cocoa & cookies warm and snuggly basket
This all goes into a medium size basket: I make Christmas themed sugar cookies and frost them. I put them in a Christmas tin. (santas, candy canes, trees ect.) Two large cocoa mugs. (the dollar store has some great looking mugs btw )4 packages of hot cocoa and a rolled up fleece blanket with the same colors in the mugs. (I have found them for as little as 4.99!!!) I put tissue paper in the bottom to match the colors of the blanket and mugs and shrink wrap the whole thing. Everyone seems to like it. Kim
