3.0 - the only difference from the 3.0 is for the 4.0 you don't need to rip out the top stitching at where the ends of the elastic are since it's left unstitched on the 4.0. Basically you're omitting step 5. Nor do you need to do step 10 or 11. I'd be happy to take a pic to illustrate if you'd like.

Great! Thanks! I think I can figure it out without more pics (unless you want to take them for others). Thanks so much for the tutorial....I was finding videos on how to fix elastic, but I really do better with everything written out like this.

Do you sew the new elastic down with a sewing machine or by hand? If by sewing machine-how do you hold it down to sew it?
