Re: How to be a CVS'er
How should you start if you don't have any coupons yet?

Re: How to be a CVS'er
To pp - I am planning to see what is on sale next and then if I don't have a coupon go to something like hotcoupons or just google to see if I can find some.
Remember, she said that you can usually use online coupons up to 2 times. I think I read that.

Re: How to be a CVS'er
Your best bet is to start saving coupons. Pick up a newspaper every sunday if you dont get one delivered. Also, you can print coupons online. CVS DOES take printed coupons. Most printable coupon websites allow you to print each coupon 2 times.

Re: How to be a CVS'er
On my way to do the grocery shopping yesterday, I noticed a store ON MY ROUTE that used to be Jewel-Osco (it was really just an Osco, they had about as much food as a Walgreens, KWIM?) IS NOW A CVS! Plus I had just found the one that's a few miles the other way from my house; I don't go that way to do shopping but it's on the way to my midwives' offices and right by an Aldi (which my SO is convinced is the best answer to streamlining the grocery bill, but the sight of all the processed & preserved stuff there just curdles my stomach. Some is perfectly fine tho). So basically I have two somewhat accessible CVSs, of which I have not been making use!! I can't wait to see how lenient or hard-up they are about coupons!!! I think this thread (which will undoubtedly be stickied due to popular demand) should also contain the resources for policy statements or letters from the company that we might need to show cashiers who are trying not to let us work CVS magic (e.g. using a B1G1 coupon with a B1G1 sale).
Awesome to see it all explained so clearly! I did notice one or two items in this week's sale sheet for which there are also current coupons! But they didn't come out anywhere near free. I've got more coupons on the way and will keep clipping and looking out for the deals! I haven't found any of those magical deals on anything of use to me yet, but I will be paying attention! Thank you! Last edited by lucifugous; 08-03-2008 at 09:55 PM. |

Re: How to be a CVS'er
Hey Heather, I just realized that the $2 off CVS skincare coupons are still good. Is there anything free still to use them on?

Re: How to be a CVS'er
Quote:
There's this lotion that's $1.49 (it's a skinny tube), hand sanitizer $1.19 (small bottle), liquid handsoap $1.29 (there's a coupon different scents), and some cvs stores have the bars of soap for $1.49 also (that depends on each store. I've seen some at $1.49 while others are $2.49). There amy be other items as well but these are the ones i know for sure. I just bought 9 bottles of liquid handsoap. 8 of them I used the cvs coupons on and the other one I used a CRT for. That's the ones that print at the scanner. It was for $2 off a $10 cvs brand purchse. I think my CVS store is getting tired of me lol. Im in there a couple times a week and I walk out with LOTS of stuff. I think they are frustrated that my transactions are large and I use lots of coupons. They don't treat me badly at all, but I get the feeling they dont want to be there when I walk in LMAO. Not my fault. I know how to work the sales lmao |
